Beat Stress Workshop

What would life be like with less stress?
What would you be capable of?
What would you do differently?
 
The first step is awareness. Understanding what causes your blood to boil in the first place is important in learning how to spot potentially stressful situations.
 
The next step is reviewing your typical response. Have you ever considered how you usually react when under stress? What happens to you physically and mentally?
 
What would happen if you chose to react differently? Research shows that the first 90 seconds of an emotional reaction to an event is automatic. After that we are choosing how to think and feel. Now that’s quite an empowering thought! Imagine only having to suffer irritation or anger for a minute and a half before replacing that negative feeling with a sense of calmness.
 
How about combining this new way of approaching stress with an understanding of the role nutrition can play in boosting your resilience?
 
In 2012 at various locations across Amsterdam, I will be co-hosting the Beat Stress Workshop that takes a total mind-body approach to beating stress by combining coaching exercises, lead by me, with nutritional advice, lead by certified health professional, Kyrin Hall.
